‘Merica Listen, over here in the land of Oz, we’re a bit puzzled. You’ve done A LOT for the world, don’t get me wrong. You’ve gifted us with some of the greatest literary minds of the time, not to mention great performers, mesmerising poets, phenomenal artist, And don’t even get me started on those amazing fast food chains you are so famous for, which have saved our hungover Aussie asses more times than we probably care to mention. However, with all this greatness going on, you really are making us and the rest of the world scratch our heads as to what you’re doing with your gun laws. They are ridiculously outdated and if the recent Florida shootings are anything to go by, the problem is certainly not going to get better without some serious intervention. Look, I get it, you have trouble letting go, You need your protection, “it’s your right as an American” blah blah blah but in actual fact, the real issue here, is that you care more about your guns and their business they place in your economy, than the lives of your loved ones and that is an issue, and a huge one at that.
And this is where, us, as Australians are lost! The lives of innocent people, children for god sakes, are put at risk - daily, I may add, because you just can’t deal without your bloody 2nd amendment, which was created in the 1700’s and with muskets in mind, not assault rifles!
Honestly, let it go, abolish your gun laws, and cut the crap of you needing it for protection. You see, if NOBODY is allowed a gun, guess what? You’re not at risk of anyone shooting you, huh, funny that! Now seriously, the grand Olé Land of the red white and blue, get your shit together, stop allowing the lives of the free to go on dying, because you’re too scared to loose a pissing contest. It’s time.
